This past weekend was my Mom’s birthday and as a family, we decided to go the beach for 4 days. Nice, right? I honestly couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better time with my family. In addition, several hundred thousand teachers have trained themselves and school staffs on digital literacy and Web 2.0 basics, including integrating technology in the classroom with our various free content libraries.
We have also given away access to more …

I read quite a lot in the educational technology and general educational fields, so thought I would share some of the more interesting things I come across.

The use of interactive whiteboards in the classroom has grown a lot in the past year, and I, for one, am a fan! I know it’s not always easy to get the funding for those boards in the classroom, so I went on a little mission to find something FREE! And with my awesome searching skills =) I found Dabbleboard. Have you heard of it? Dabbleboard (to be exact) is “an online collaboration application that’s centered around the whiteboard.” Neat right? Well, it gets better!
One of the really cool things …
