I guess it was inevitable that schools would soon face a tough question regarding Twitter and students:

Have been reading a most engrossing survey on K-12 educators and social networking and content-sharing tools, conducted by edWeb.net, MCH and MMS Education at http://www.mmseducation.com.
61% of all educators (includes teachers, librarians, and administrators) use a social networking site.
Of those who use, 85% use Facebook, 20% use MySpace, 14% use LinkedIn, and 11% use Ning.
Interestingly, Twitter didn’t even show up on this list!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with Big Huge Labs. Thanks to @wmchamberlain’s tweet, I was introduced to one of the most entertaining and FUN way to use photos! Now, I’ve used other alternatives such as BeFunky but it definitely wasn’t as intriguing and EASY to use as Big Huge Labs. And on top of that, there is so much MORE with Big Huge Labs. (Can you tell I’m excited?!)

If you were on Twitter on Monday, November 2, 2009 chances are high you saw many retweets of ISTEconnect’s blog post Crowdsourceing or Loudsourcing? written by Vicki Davis.

Have you ever left your cell phone at home for an entire day and felt like you were going through withdrawal?
Students today are just as attached to their phones as we are as adults, and in many cases they can out perform us in texting, mobile web browsing, and yes, even tweeting.
